Wellrad - onlineshop plugin

This plugin adds e-commerce functionality for a small business: an easy way to administrate a shop with some dozens of products via the CMSimple backend. The detailed product descriptions can be done on normal CMSimple pages - the plugin offers to create an add-to-cart-link on those pages.

By now this plug-in is only available as a “solution” - a bundle of CMSimple 3.2 (with integrated TinyMCE) and the wellrad-plugin.

Screenshots of the administration interface, a feature list and downloads can be found on the wellrad's homepage.

Have fun!

Installation

After having set up CMSimple as usual, you'll have to give write permission (0666) to two additional files:

[plugins]

[wellrad]
	[config]
		settings.php
	[data]
		catalogue.inc

If you want to edit it's stylesheet online, do the same with /plugins/wellrad/css/stylesheet.css.

Important update

If you have already installed a version < 1.0.2, you should update to the current version: The first release's tax calculation did not take care of the forwarding expenses. Just unpack the small update package and replace the old files with the new ones - this won't touch your settings and your product catalog.

Discussion

1. I have nowhere read if the shop sends any email to a customer with an order confirmation. There is a form-output generated on last check. This could be saved in a single file.txt and e-mailed to inserted recipient’s email. Is this feature included? If so, how is this configurable?
2. If the orders would be saved e.g. as YYYYMMDDHHMMSS.txt files, it would be useful having an admin function to list/view all orders and submitting e-mails (when the products are sent, if any other message are to be sent to the customer, if sosme advertisement shall be sent etc.).
3. There is to be written C.O.S page somehwere within the website. There is also a warning that this page has to be linked. But even if I link this page (using the dropdown list and confirmation button) the warning remains always there and no link to the page is shown. It would be good to include a function that would replace the warning with the link if selected from the dropdown list. Anyway - an excellent and very simple administrable plugin.
